Denarau Golf & Racquet Club is the home of the South Pacific’s premier golf course.
Designed in 1993 by Eiichi Motobashi, the adored 18-hole course features brilliant views, resort style play and professional instruction.
With a par of 72, the 7,150-yard course offers tee positions for all levels of golfers. The club provides rental clubs, shoes, pull trolleys, electric carts and a practise facility. The Golf program includes international standard golf lessons and daily clinics.
Denarau Golf & Racquet Club’s Tennis programs make learning fun for those at all levels of the game. Whether you want to brush up on your backhand with a private lesson, sign up for a clinic or organise a friendly game. For avid players, there are social tournaments, trainers and ball machine practise.
Of course, if you’re just looking for a little fun, the club hosts a Mini Golf course and bungee trampoline. Not to mention a club house with wood-fired pizzas, roast specials, a full bar, live sports coverage, and much much more.
GOLF
The Denarau Island golf course incorporates a unique Pacific theme with bunkers in the shape of marine creatures. With a par of 72, the 7,150-yard course offers tee positions for all levels of golfers, including four water carry par-threes, four challenging par-fives, and 10 par-fours. The longest hole is 570 yards, and the shortest is 170 yards.
TENNIS
Brush up on your backhand with a private lesson or sign up for a clinic to work on your serve (organized both for adults and juniors). Doubles tournaments and socials dot the Denarau tennis calendar, and the avid player can easily find partners, trainers or ball machines for practice. Amenities include our tennis pro shop and equipment rentals.
FIJI PREMIUM CLUB HOUSE
The golf course is also home to the Fiji Premium Club House, which offers wood-fired pizzas with delightful toppings, daily curry and roast specials, burgers and fries, salads, and much more. Overlooking the links, this venue has a ports lounge complete with live coverage on four Flat Screen Televisions, plus a large outdoor screen for bigger games. A 360-degree bar serves ice-cold Fiji Premium, Fiji Bitter, and Fiji Gold on tap as well as selections from a large wine cellar.
